The most recognizable hot rod in the world has never won a major show award, nor has it set any top speed records on the dry lakes or at the asphalt drags. In fact, the most recognizable hot rod in the world wasn’t constructed by a big-name builder, and the sum of the car’s parts is similar to the build sheet you’d typically find on any nondescript backyard hot rod. Even so, the most recognizable hot rod in the world is just that. You may know it as the American Graffiti coupe.

American Graffiti is a 1973 American coming-of-age comedy film directed and co-written by George Lucas starring Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Paul Le Mat, Harrison Ford, Charles Martin Smith, Cindy Williams, Candy Clark, Mackenzie Phillips, Bo Hopkins, and Wolfman Jack. Art is but one of many passions for me. I believe creativity and imagination requires no formal training and all of us have an artist within. I spent much of my life drawing and painting in traditional ways, but years ago, I found with my computer I could create far more than my skills with a pencil or brush could ever produce.
